Bjorg Lambrecht: “I didn’t come for GC, it’s special to win this”

“It’s been a really hard race, especially because of the different changes of weather with rain, cold and sun. But I’m very happy with the shape I had here and the first place I got in the best young rider classification. I didn’t come here for GC but I was better than I expected. Now standing here in the white jersey is unbelievable. It’s definitely special. I saw the list of names of riders who got this jersey before. They’re very big names! I truly hope I can make the same kind of successful careers.”
