Upside down again?

June 16 th 2019 - 03:15

Three of the last five editions of the Critérium du Dauphiné have been turned upside down on the last day. It can be the case again as seven riders are within 33’’: Jakob Fuglsang, Adam Yates, Tejay van Garderen, Emanuel Buchmann, Wout Poels, Dylan Teuns and Thibaut Pinot. It’s the opposite situation as two years ago for Fuglsang who won the race overall but is new in defending the yellow-blue jersey. Before the last uphill to Champéry in Switzerland where the Dauphiné took off in 2013 with the solo victory of Canada’s David Veilleux, the first category Côte des Rives whose summit is 12km away from the finish awaits a lot of action.
