"It’s an incredible moment for me, my first WorldTour victory in one of the hardest stages of the Dauphiné. I’ve felt so bad on the bike for six days, I fought so hard and I thought I wouldn’t finish the race. When I saw the finish line, I couldn’t believe it. It’s like a dream for me. I just wanted to get some advantage to try and be in the top 10. Then I managed to open a gap and I figured why not try to go. I dropped Kuss and then I went full gas all the way to the line."
