Carapaz: "We won’t stop trying"

"Today’s stage was really fast and we wanted to try something in the end. I’m not disappointed. The idea was to see how far we could go. In the end, I couldn’t keep up with the pace and the strongest won. We still need to improve a little bit and we’ll do it step by step. There is still almost a month until the Tour so we want to finish the Dauphiné well and see how much work we still have ahead of us. We won’t stop trying. This race really suits our abilities."
