"It’s a great day for the team. It was not really planned but the leaders attacked on the climb and Jonas [Vingegaard] went for it. It’s always positive. We already saw yesterday he’s in a great shape, he had a great TT. This victory is a good omen. It was a hard day. I knew it was too hard for me. I worked to position him at the bottom of the final climb and then I took things a bit easier. I had a different jersey today [green instead of yellow and blue]. It’s not the priority but if I can bring it all the way to the end, why not?"
