Carlos Rodriguez: "I must be happy with where I am, seeing where I come from"

"It’s a good week in the end although it didn’t start the best way. In the first stage, Ethan [Hayter] crashed twice and abandoned. The next day I crashed hard but I was able to continue. Then Ben Turner crashed in the time trial and we were down to 5 guys. I wasn’t feeling really good. But the shape got better and better with the days. It could be better but I must be happy with where I am, seeing where I come from. Starting the Tour in Bilbao will be a dream. Since I was a kid, I’ve been dreaming just to be at the start of the Tour once. I hope I’ll be able to do as well as I can."
