"The green jersey was not the goal but it’s definitely a satisfaction. The overall standings with Jonas [Vingegaard], four stages and the green jersey - it’s a great week for us. If I had been told I would win two stages in the Dauphiné, I would have taken that immediately! The green jersey is the cherry on the cake. We came with the GC as our main focus, and also to win stages in the beginning with myself. We’ve met our goals. Now, let’s go to Tignes, to rest a little bit and head to the Tour. I feel better than last year at the same time. I’m happy and confident."
